A Spark of Light is a graphic novel adaptation of Dr. Kevin Simpson’s published novel Soccer Under the Swastika. It tells the true stories of Jewish people playing soccer in Nazi concentration camps and ghettos during the Holocaust. It’s a story of hope and overcoming adversity during one of the world’s darkest eras.

I am currently the sole artist for this graphic novel. Dr. Kevin Simpson is the writer. The novel is in progress right now, set to be published in 2026-2027.
